SUMMER 2024 CONVOCATION CEREMONY DETAILS

June 12–14, 2024

ORDERING DETAILS

Please have your credit card ready before placing your order. We accept VISA, VISA debit card, MasterCard, or Discover credit card.

Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires the correct billing address associated with the credit/debit card.

REGALIA PRICES

Diploma | Certificate Package (includes gown, cap & tassel): $45.00

Trades Diploma | Certificate Package (includes gown, cap & tassel): $45.00

Advanced | Graduate | Post-Degree Diploma Package (includes gown, stole, cap & tassel): $55.00

Bachelor Package (includes gown, hood, cap & tassel): $55.00

Master Package (includes gown, hood, cap & tassel): $60.00

Please note, no deposit is charged; none of the rental fee will be returned. The VIU Graduation/Alumni Fee does not cover the cost of renting regalia.

Late Rental Registrations will be charged an additional $55.


ORDER CONFIRMATION DETAIL

You will receive two emails once your rental registration is complete. Please only register once, if you would like to make changes please call or email us. Details below.

The first will be from Gaspard this contains payment information. If you have used a credit card other than your own, it will show on this confirmation. The academic dress will be in your name.

The second email will be from Build-A-Grad. This email order confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your regalia order. Your Order Number will be on this order confirmation.

Please print these forms or bring them on your mobile device when picking up your regalia.


ORDER CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations for refund must be received before May 10, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Refunds will not be accepted after this date.

REGALIA PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS

Regalia will be available for pick-up at Nanaimo Campus store starting Thursday June 6, 2024.

To authorize someone to pick up your regalia on your behalf, they must bring a note from you (letter or email) that includes your full name and student number, your representative’s full name, and the exact credential you are receiving.


REGALIA DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS

Regalia must be immediately returned after ceremony to Nanaimo Campus Store.
