Commencement Details

Caps and Gowns (regalia) are required for all faculty and graduates participating in the Commencement ceremony.

Gown styles differ for Bachelor, Masters and Ph.D. candidates. Associate degree candidates wear Bachelor gowns. All graduate gowns at UNH are black. Masters candidates have hoods with colors that correspond to academic degree. Ph.D. candidates wear a hood specific to UNH. The cap and gown vendor knows what is required and will provide you with the appropriate regalia.

Ordering Details

Shipping Fee: $15.00

Bachelor (Gown, Cap & Tassel): $17.00

Master (Gown, Cap, Hood & Tassel): $33.40

CAGS Outfit: $35.20

Regalia will be shipped to the home address you provided when ordering. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes. Orders will begin shipping in February 2023. Please watch your email for tracking information once your order is shipped.

Email Order Confirmation

You will receive two emails once your regalia registration is complete.

The first email will be from Balfour. This contains your payment information.

The second email is from Build-A-Grad. This email order confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your regalia order.
