Please have your UNB email address, degree, ceremony date, credit/debit card ready before placing your order. Visa debit, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment by credit/Visa debit card requires the correct billing address for AVS (Address Verification Security).

Fall Convocation Details
UNB Saint John campus will celebrate its 44th Fall Convocation Ceremony on Friday, Oct. 23 in the Imperial Theatre at 4:30 p.m.
All graduands attending the ceremony are required to reserve regalia between August 17 and October 9.
Degrees from the Faculties of Arts; Science, Applied Science and Engineering; Business; Nursing and Health Sciences; and School of Integrated Health will be awarded.

Regalia Rental Price Information
Online regalia rentals are $60 + tax.
Regalia for Bachelor's and Master's degrees include gown, hood, cap and tassel. The cap and tassel are yours
to keep. Doctoral regalia includes gown, hood and beefeater cap, all of which must be returned after the
ceremony. Regalia not returned will be charged to the renter.
You must rent your regalia through this site and pick it up at the onsite desk on the day of your ceremony.
Payment by credit card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address for
credit card customers.
Regalia Pick Up Instructions
Gowns, caps and hoods will be available for pick up on Friday, Oct. 23 between 2:30-3:45 p.m. at the Grand Hall (40 Charlotte Street). The Grand Hall is located across King Square from the Imperial Theatre.
Regalia Drop Off Instructions
Gowns, hoods and doctoral beefeater caps must be returned immediately following your ceremony to the Grand Hall (40 Charlotte Street). For those with mortarboard caps and tassels, they are yours to keep. Regalia not returned will be charged to the renter.
Order Confirmation Details
When your order is complete, you will receive two emails within 24 hours:
1. The first email will be from Gaspard and contains payment information. If you have used a credit card other than your own, it will show on this confirmation.
2. The second email will be from Build-A-Grad and will contain all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick up, drop off, order number and amount paid, and, if applicable, cancellation and refund information.
The academic regalia will arrive on site in your name.
Cancellations
Rental cancellations must be received before October 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Cancellations are not permitted after this date and refunds will not be given.

All rental regalia must be returned after your event. A list of all unreturned regalia will be shared with your school. Students will incur a charge for any unreturned regalia.
