2025 New York Tech Vancouver Commencement

Annual Commencement will be on Saturday, October 4, 2025
Ceremony at 2:00 PM
Schedule Details:
11:00am Doors open to grads
11:30am Commencement Regalia is distributed to graduates
1:00pm Registration closes *if you arrive after 1:00pm, you will not be permitted in to the venue
1:00pm Chan Centre opens for guest seating
1:30pm Students begin to line up
2:00pm Student processional begins
2:30pm Commencement ceremony begins

NYIT PROVIDES REGALIA TO GRADUATING STUDENTS AT A COST OF $36.99 + TAXES (CAD) PER PERSON.
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR NEW YORK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY'S ACADEMIC REGALIA. YOU MAY RESERVE REGALIA NOW THROUGH Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
EMAIL ORDER CONFIRMATION
You will receive two emails once your online order is complete.
The first email will be from Gaspard. This is your payment receipt.
The second email will be from Build-A-Grad. This order confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick up, drop off, order number and cancellation information.
Please print these forms or bring them on your mobile device when picking up your regalia.
REGALIA PRICES
Rental Regalia Package (Rental Gown, Rental Hood, Souvenir Cap and Tassel): $36.99 + Taxes (CAD)
PICK-UP TIME AND LOCATION
Pick-up Regalia in the Telus Studio Theatre at 11:30am.
DROP-OFF TIME AND LOCATION
REGALIA MUST BE RETURNED BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE CHAN CENTRE. GOWN RETURN WILL BE LOCATED IN THE TELUS STUDIO THEATRE. PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENTS WILL INCUR A FEE ON THEIR CREDIT CARD FOR ANY UNRETURNED RENTAL REGALIA.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations for refund must be received before Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. Refunds will not be accepted after this date.

Please have your NYIT Student ID Number, email address, credit/debit card, credit/debit card's billing address line one and/or postal code ready before placing your order. Visa debit Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards are accepted for payment.
Address Verification Security (AVS) requires the correct billing address for credit/debit card customers.
Gaspard has scanned your rental items to your student ID. All rental regalia must be returned after your event. Unreturned items will be reported to your University or College and you will be charged for the unreturned rental regalia on your credit card.
