Congratulations Graduates!

Convocation Time and Date: Convocation will be held on June 25, 26 and 27. For complete schedule, please go to www.bcit.ca/convocation/schedule.

All students participating in convocation ceremonies are required to wear BCIT graduation regalia. (Approved cultural attire exempted. Contact [email protected] for more information.)

If you do not know which school your program belongs with, visit www.bcit.ca/study/ and search for the name of your program and click on the program name. The school name will appear on the program page in top left hand side of the page.

To begin your order, click on the "Order Here" tab at the bottom of the page. Please have your credit card, student ID, and Ceremony information on hand before beginning your order. You will find all credentials listed under "select degree". Please check bcit.ca and search for your program or contact your program area if you do not know your credential.

To order your gown for Spring Convocation, please select the ceremony scheduled for your school and program area. If you are unsure of which day you will be graduating, please refer to the information provided to you by Student Records. A complete schedule of the convocation ceremonies can be found at www.bcit.ca/convocation.

You will receive two email order confirmation forms once your rental is complete.

     1. Will contain your ORDER NUMBER and bank transaction information. If you have used a credit card other than your own it will show on this confirmation. The rental regalia will be onsite in your name.
     2. Will contain RENTAL and ORDER NUMBER. This is proof that your order is complete and paid in full. This confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick-up, drop-off, etc.

Rental Fee: $50.00 (Taxes included)

Early Bird Rental discount of $10.00 applicable for orders placed before midnight PST June 5, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Onsite Rentals (on day of ceremony) $50.00 (taxes included). Credit, or debit accepted.

Regalia includes gown, hood, cap, and tassel. The cap and tassel are yours to keep.

Address Verification Security (AVS) requires correct billing address for credit/debit card customers. Visa, Visa debit, MasterCard, or Discovery credit cards are accepted for payment.

Please arrive at 4812 Willingdon Ave 1.5 hours before your ceremony time to allow enough time to check in and pick up your gown. Upon arrival for your ceremony please follow the signs to the gowning room.

Visit www.bcit.ca/convocation/ for information on how to plan for your Convocation day.

Please return regalia in the gowning room immediately following the ceremony. Please return all regalia except the cap and tassel, the cap and tassel are yours to keep.

All cancellations for refund must be received before June 11, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Refunds will not be accepted after this date.
